MurderBear (Kyle Gordon), is a 22 year old motion graphics designer with a passion for merging art, video, and music. Throughout his days at the University of California, Santa Barbara, he took part in the usual college debauchery while running his own clothing brand, Warped State. Through this he was able to network, coordinate/ organize local concerts, and was commissioned by many artists within the music industry. After his 2012 Coachella experience, he decided he wanted to bridge his artwork with music by learning how to VJ/ Produce audiovisual content.
That summer MurderBear worked at Possible Productions, the company responsible for Deadmau5's tour visuals. While there he worked on projects for clients such as 2NE1, Nikki Manaj, etc. Upon his return to his final year of college, he dove into creating more audiovisual works. His end of the year audiovisual projection mapped installation earned him Faculty Distinction awards and grants, which he then used to fund his graduation present to himself, a Eurotrip.
After traveling all of the summer in 2013 and attending Burning Man for his second year, MurderBear moved to San Francisco to work as one of the lead motion graphics designers at 3monkeys, a large scale creative consulting company that specializes in real-time 3D content and large scale event production.
Feeling unfulfilled musically, MurderBear joined forces with one of his best friends, The Aesthetic (who works in LA at Atlantic Records currently) to create Electric Bare and help bring the online masses nothing but the best in music, video, and beauty. On the side he is in the process of launching a new clothing collaborative project called soCasual, is experimenting with new real-time 3D graphics that automatically sync to music, creating content for his personal VJ clip library, and working with local musicians on music videos and album artwork.
