Jaymes Young – “Habits Of My Heart” (Sufjan Stevens Remake)

For all of you Coachella-goers out there, I’d like to introduce you to a perfect track for those warm and alluring Indio nights. Jaymes Young took Sufjan Stevens’ “Concerning the UFO Sighting Near Highland, Illinois” and made it his own. Going along with the recent trend of rising artists incorporating late 80s and early 90s R&B influence, Young lyrically rips your heart out while making you nod along without notice. I love this track for its delicate yet commanding presence. I’m excited to see what else Mr. Young produces in the near future.

hey! thanks for reaching out. most of our viewers actually use firefox, chrome, or safari. We’re working on fixing the site, but IE is actually falling way behind on evolving web data and is far behind the other browsers. I’d look into Chrome if I were you 😉
